En este recorrido visitamos tres destinos naturales y tres arqueológicos.
3 Sitios Naturales:
-Estrecho del Magdalena, donde el rio se reduce a 2,20mts, la parte más angosta del rio.
- Cascada salto del mortiño 200mts aproximadamente en caída libre.
- Cascada Salto de Bordones, la segunda más alta de Colombia de 400mts en tres caídas.
3 arqueológicos:
-Museo y tumbas subterráneas en Obando.
- Parque arqueológico Alto de los Ídolos.
- Parque alto de las piedras en el municipio de Isnos.
Este recorrido se realiza en un día completo saliendo a las 8:30am y regresando a las5:30 aprox.
El recorrido toma su inicio en la Población de san Agustín. Podrás gozar de bellos paisajes y el confort de nuestro parque automotor.

On this tour we visit three natural destinations and three archaeological sites.

Tres Chorros
Los tres chorros en san Agustín destino eco turístico ubicado a 2 horas de la población en la vía que conduce a la laguna del Magdalena. Durante su recorrido en medio de la naturaleza nativa podremos observar amplia variedad de aves, fauna y flora propias de la región y del macizo.
Los antepasados transitaron y habitaron esta región. Por ello podemos observar las ruinas de las tapias donde se fundó por primera vez San Agustín.
Tres chorros se ha posicionado como uno de los destinos ecoturísticos más visitados de san Agustín y el sur de Colombia.
Lleva su nombre por la bifurcación que presenta el rio Mulales en el momento de su caída dejando un hermoso panorama, que, en contraste con la luz solar, le entrega un hermoso panorama lleno de luz y hermosos colores.

Parque Arqueológico
Es la reserva nacional que protege la mayor necrópolis de los vestigios arqueológicos de la cultura agustiniana. Tiene apróx. 130 estatuas.
MUSEO ARQUEOLÓGICO: Se exhiben diferentes utensilios arqueológicos tales como estatuas, incluyendo 5 estatuas de tamaño natural, vasijas cerámicas , joyas , collares, vestigios de maíz y frijol, sarcófagos de madera, flechas ,cerbatanas ,tambores, flautas, mantas y otros elementos representativos de la vida cotidiana de algunas comunidades indígenas de la Amazonia colombiana.
BOSQUE DE LAS ESTATUAS: Colinda con la casa de administración y el museo, aquí se encuentran 35 esculturas de tamaño medio, con diferentes orígenes ubicadas a lo largo de un sendero serpenteante incrustado dentro de la verde y espesa vegetación en la cual aún se conservan árboles centenarios.
MESITA A: Agustín Codazzi, en 1857, describió el montículo oriental de esta mesita. En la parte anterior de cada montículo se puede apreciar un templo de estilo dolménico, en el centro se ubica la deidad principal adornada con corona de plumas y mascara felina, en las manos lleva un caracol para la masticación de la coca, el miembro viril está atado a un cordón ceñido a la cintura, rematando en un artístico nudo que cae sobre la pierna derecha.
MESITA B: Se encuentra al noroccidente de la Mesita A: podemos apreciar tres montículos, hacia el oriente se observan sepulturas abiertas de tipo “cajón” o “cancel” en la parten se encuentras otras tumbas. Según el arqueólogo Luis Duque Gómez esta zona fue destinada a personajes de mayor jerarquía ya que las tumbas son cuidadosamente decoradas y de mayor tamaño. En este lugar se encuentra la figura más grande de San Agustín denominada “el Obispo”
MESITA C: A la entrada podremos apreciar una figura femenina con cara triangular, nombrada en la obra maravillas de la naturaleza por San Fray Luis de Santa Gertrudis: un personaje con corona de plumas, otra figura doble con cara agresiva por un lado y pasiva por el otro.
FUENTE CEREMONIAL DEL LAVAPATAS: Con grabados profundamente artísticos y religiosos, tiene 34 figuras en relieves, numerosos canales y tres piscinas que armonizados con el majestuoso sonido del agua une los conceptos de la vida y de la muerte.
MESITA D: Localizada en la misma área donde se encuentra el museo y la casa de administración. Con muchas escultura a su alrededor que datan de la fase primaria del desarrollo de la cultura agustiniana, se puede reconocer por sus diseños más elaborados.
ALTO DEL LAVAPATAS: Está ubicado en una cima a 1.750 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Siete esculturas forman el atractivo arqueológico de este lugar. La panorámica de este lugar es inimaginable por el esplendor de su paisaje natural.

DESCRIPCIÓN
Las figuras precolombinas aquí representadas se hallan esculpidas sobre la formación rocosa de la zona, de cara al cañón que forma el Río Magdalena. Muchas de ellas escapan a su observación por encontrarse expuestas a un continuo proceso de erosión.

DESCRIPTION
